GRWM – SCOME CIMSA USU

On October 2, 2021, SCOME CIMSA USU held the GRWM (Get Ready With scoME) event. The purpose of the event is to assist USU Medical Students batch 2021 in navigating college life at the USU Faculty of Medicine. The series of events was done through a webinar, podcast, and IGTV publication. The webinar was delivered with Zoom Meeting with the medical lecture system at USU Faculty of Medicine as its topic. The event started at 10.00 WIB, where the participants entered the Zoom Meeting. The webinar begins with a brief introduction of CIMSA USU brought by Diqa Aridani. It continued with the talk show titled “How to Survive The 1st Year of Medical School” brought by Debora Natalie as the speaker and Arrido Anwar as the moderator. Next, we have the material presentation of the Introduction to the Basic Biological Science Block split into two sections as the main agenda. The webinar ends with a sharing session with seniors who have several motivational experiences and achievements. The participants were assigned to a breakroom with their seniors for the sharing session.

For the IGTV content, SCOME CIMSA USU launched a talk show video on 3-4th October 2021, with the doctor profession as the topic of discussion. Military physicians and doctorpreneurs are the topics of discussion on this talk show. For the podcast, we’ll be discussing an issue that is currently important to medical students. The topic is burnout and stress, which are commonly experienced by medical students.
